Because the world needs us  Grounded & Compassionate

Change is seldom easy and can be  especially challenging for people who are
more sensitive and have high levels of empathy.  Yet change is all around us - culturally, politically and personally.

When our capacity to process change is overwhelmed we can feel moody,
restless and easily overwhelmed.   We may experience
 heightened
anxiety and worry,  disrupted sleep, difficulty focusing and low vitality,
even depression.

Roots & Wings is designed for women who want to learn
new & healthy means for processing and relating to change
in a supportive & nurturing group setting.

Learn to embody life-long skills for grounding, for self-regulation,
for nurturing yourself in challenging times and for cultivating
deeper compassion - for yourself and for the wider world.

How Roots & Wings is structured:

We will meet once a month for four months.
Between our meetings you will receive a weekly e-mail with access
to guided exercises, inspiring poems, videos or other resources.
As we gather we will learn and practice together, creating a kind
and warm circle of mutual caring and support.  I will lead you
in guided visualizations, meditations and mindful movement
exercises as well as occaisional art exercises.   I will be drawing
from both cutting edge science to help you understand the
workings and needs of your nervous system and from ancient
wisdom traditions as we tend to the workings and needs of the
heart and mind.
